The Columbian Redfin Tetra is a striking and robust schooling fish with a stunning shimmering blue body and vivid red fins. One of the more active and eye-catching tetras, they add real drama to a larger community tank.
Stage: Beginner
Temperament: Semi-aggressive — can be fin-nippy. Best kept in groups of 8+ with fast-moving tank mates.
Tank Mates: Active, robust fish — Danios, Barbs, larger Tetras. Avoid slow-moving or long-finned fish.
Origin: South America (Colombia)
Diet: Omnivore — flakes, pellets, frozen bloodworm, brine shrimp, daphnia
